Teaching Philosophy

Teaching requires hard work, dedication, persistence, and above all patience. I rigorously motivate students to go above their limits and instill independent growth within them.  I believe that good is not a level to achieve instead I believe in what Bruce Mau calls, growth. I believe that growth is the potential to go beyond the ordinary and delve into the extraordinary.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in three principles, Critical Thinking, Strategic Thinking, and Creative Thinking. This is the foundation that guides me and my students in every course I teach. These fundamental principles can be applied to all courses and to all levels of instruction. Teaching should provide students with the framework to, above all, think. This approach has led me to always maintain high standards in my courses and to always create a culture of students who can analyze, evaluate and create.  My goal is to assure that all students become life-long learners and to cultivate their minds in becoming contributing citizens of our environment.
